Kolkata : Asha Audio Company presented a new Bengali single, ‘Marichika’, sung by Lopamudra Mitra. Music arrangement and programming is done by Shourya Ghatak (Pintu) and composition is done by Dr. Agnibh Mukherji. The song is now available in Asha Audio’s YouTube channel and across all music platforms.
For the first time, the song has been adapted from Rabindranath Tagore’s poem ‘Marichika’. Singer Lopamudra Mitra, is famous for her folk songs and Rabindra Sangeet. But this one has a tough and unique composition with a bold approach.
“The song ‘Marichika’ is an extremely innovative project. This is a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore prior to his 160th Birth Anniversary. We are hopeful that the audience will love the experimental song,” said Apeksha Lahiri, Asha Audio Company.
