Asha Audio Company celebrates 100 years of World Poetry Day with ‘Bidrohi’, recited by Samya from Kazi Nazrul Islam’s poetry. The video also features Anjali, Achintya and Prasun who have different stories of struggle in their life. The audio presentation is designed and programmed by Debasis Shome.
This world poetry day Samya is here with Bidrohi by Kazi Nazrul Islam. A beautiful representation of emotions by Anjali, Achintya and Prasun. Let our emotions out & express ourselves with Bidrohi. Inspite of losing a leg due to cancer, Anjali’s revolt is with herself to fulfill her dreams. Achintya is a transgender guy who is struggling regularly for her existence. Prasun wants to bring revolution through his dance and remove all the odds from the society.
“This is a very bold presentation. The video is a stage theatre that describes rebellion against all the limitations to express own emotions completely. It was overall a nice experience to work with all of them. We are hopeful that the audience will love the song,” said Apeksha Lahiri, Asha Audio Company.
