To spread awareness about the safety of the workers at their respective workplaces, KARAM will be hosting the virtual event that will witness more than 30 products and services from different PPE categories where possible ways to mitigate workplace hazards will be showcased followed by demo sessions, testing and interactive training workshops for the workers.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Hemant Sapra (President, Global Marketing) at KARAM Industries said, “KARAM today has become synonymous with safety: of workers and consumers at large. The National Safety Week is the right platform for us to address the importance of safety at work for the workforce in the country. This virtual event is an effort in this vein and we are hopeful that it will help empower workforce and enhance their productivity at work.
As safety is now becoming a part of the everyday lifestyle of people at work or at home, organisations are becoming more conscious about the occupational safety and health of the workers. National Safety Day is celebrated in India on 4th March every year to mark the foundation of the National Safety Council. On this occasion of the 50th National Safety Day, I take this opportunity to wish everyone a Safe and Healthy 2021. We shall pledge together to reaffirm our commitments towards achieving an accident-free environment. We shall continue to maintain the interest of workers and employees on Safety throughout the year and achieve our Safety goal of ‘Zero Incident-Zero Harm'.”
With the newest workwear, behavioural safety programmes, safety harnesses, PPE, occupational health products, e-learning, training solutions and more, participants will be able to source the perfect health and safety solutions for their business.
