On Thursday January 27, India’s most influential commentator in sports and academician Dr. Boria Majumdar hosted a webinar “Physical Is Digital” where academic toppers of batch 2019-20, Arka Saha (Science topper with 97.6%), Tathagata Banerjee (Science topper with 95.6%), Krishna Agarwal (Commerce topper with 94%), Anurup Guha Thakurta (Commerce topper with 95.5%), Sayak Sanyal (Humanities topper with 96.2%) and Ritupriya Samanta (Humanities topper with 96.4%) along with Director of Education Mrs. Sabita Saha were present. During the hour long webinar, the students discussed their experience with the teachers, the role the school has played in shaping their career, the things they have learnt apart from academics and the message they would like to pass on to the next batches and aspirers for getting admission into the Aditya Academy Group of Schools. Commerce topper Anurup Guha Thakurta said, “The teachers as well as all the other staff members made my school life pleasurable. I love playing guitar and football along with my studies and my school has made it a point that I indulge in smart study and focus on physical education.” Dr. Boria Majumdar while discussing made sure to highlight that Aditya Academy constantly strives to make their pupils smart and dynamic to adapt themselves in an evolving and complex world outside. On being asked how the teachers are, Science topper Tathagata Banerjee said, “Our teachers are our extended family. They always made me feel so comfortable and never judged me as a newcomer in class 11. They have been patient while dealing with our questions and groomed us into better human beings.”
